Prologue
사도성요한수도회는 1975년 12월 8일 마리 도미니크 필리프(Marie Dominique Philippe) 신부가 제2차 바티칸 공의회의 정신을 구현하고, 시대의 요구에 직접적으로 응답하기 위해 창설하였다.
활동보다는 관상을 중시하며 신자들의 영적 지도, 피정 교육 사업에 전념하고 있다. 요한 학교를 운영하면서 주일 복음에 대한 독서 지도를 하고 있으며 요한 피정, 부부 피정 등을 통한 신자들의 영적 성숙에 목적이 있다.

성당은 전형적인 로마네스크 양식으로서, 프랑스 현지 수도원의 건축담당 수사의 3D계획안이 나에게 전달 되었다.
또한 프랑스에서 파견된 건축 기능공들에 의해 서 프랑스산 라임스톤이 하나하나 조각되어 건축되었다. 중세시대 축조법을 확인한 순간 이었다. 두께1미터의 덩어리들을 차곡차곡 쌓아 올렸다. 비록 여러 가지 사정으로 인해서 완성되지는 못하였지만 기록으로 남기고 싶은 프로젝트이다.
The cathedral is a typical Romanesque style, and the 3D plan of the architectural investigation of a local French monastery was delivered to me.
In addition, French limestone was carved and constructed one by one by architectural technicians dispatched from France. It was the moment to confirm the medieval construction method. 1 meter thick lumps were stacked one by one. Although it was not completed due to various circumstances, it is a project I want to record.
